Communism is nothing more than Nazism with better PR. Its track record of atrocities dwarf those of Hitler, and its core philosophy is every bit as repugnant, if not more so.
That anyone in America would even attempt to put “lipstick on this pig” is an unmitigated disgrace. That they can do it with such relative ease — under the banner of “social justice,” no less — is truly frightening.
The purpose of this blog is to inform, explain and enlighten people from all over the world about the origins of the Quran and Muhammadan Islam. We shall explore almost every aspect of Muhammadan Islam from its very beginnings till modern times, relying almost ENTIRELY upon the Arabic and Islamic sources themselves to prove the statements and conclusions here in declared.
Epicurus inverts, as seen on § 10, the logical relationship between practice and theory. If normally theory is the logical basis of practice and if the latter is the exemplification of the first in the level of facts, in Epicureanism practice is what produces the psychological conditions which will make the theory believable, and the theoretical discourse will be nothing but the discursive element of practice, the translation into speech of the belief produced by habit. The Epicurean theory does not describe the perceived world, but its practice alters, by way of exercises, the perception of the world so that it becomes similar to the theory. The point is not to understand the world, but to transform it.
I’M GOING TO KEEP REBLOGGING THIS UNTIL IT GETS MORE NOTES B/C IT IS IMPORTANT.
This is an article by Yaron Brook, the current president of the Ayn Rand Institute. He’s an objectivist who was born Jewish, though he does not consider himself so now. I know that he was educated in Israel, though I am unsure if he was born there.
For my followers who are economic/Rand/objectivist driven, I don’t know your feelings on Israel, but I want so badly for you (and everyone, really) to understand that U.S. support of them isn’t based in religion or on any ideology— it’s because it is unquestionably in our interests, not to mention just the right thing to do.
I promise, promise, promise if you educate yourselves on the situation and recent history (you don’t have to go much past the turn of the 20th century), there is good and valid reason for us to support them because they live in a reality that we cannot imagine and amongst an ideology, promoted by lies, that if they fail in defeating, will be on our doorstep.
We must allow them the right of self-defense if we ever intend to employ it ourselves, and they protect individual freedom in a region where it is repressed in every other direction.
***Also, if you ever look up the videos of Yaron Brook defending the morality of capitalism, they are most excellent.
Most Arabs in the city prefer to live under Israeli rule for a number of reasons. First, because as holders of Israeli ID cards they are entitled to many rights and privileges that Palestinians in the West Bank and Gaza Strip don’t enjoy. They include freedom of movement and social, economic, health and education services that Israeli citizens are entitled to.
Redividing Jerusalem means bringing either the Palestinian Authority o[r] Hamas into the city. The Arab residents of Jerusalem have seen what happened in the West Bank and Gaza Strip over the past 16 years and are not keen to live under a corrupt authority or a radical Islamist entity.
Over the past few years, many Arab residents of the city who used to live in the West Bank have abandoned their homes and returned to Jerusalem. They did so mainly out of fear of losing their rights and privileges as holders of Israeli ID cards.
But many of them also ran away from the West Bank because they did not want to live in territories controlled by militiamen, armed gangs and corrupt leaders and institutions.
Martin Peretz, editor in chief of the New Republic, has raised the question of whether the Palestinian Arabs are a distinct people and nation, and for this he is being denounced in certain quarters. The resulting fury has created a smokescreen around a question that deserves examination in an atmosphere of respect and restraint. Are the Palestinian Arabs a distinct people apart from other Arabs?
A group of former Brazilian soldiers say that a lieutenant colonel sexually harassed and forced recruits to engage in sex acts with him in order to continue their military careers, according to the Brazilian television network R7.
